Job Summary
Direct Care Workers live out our mission by providing a clean, safe, and loving environment for all who enter the residence. This high-touch role implements and documents resident programs and acts as the first set of eyes observing resident concerns.

Typical Duties

  • Maintaining resident hygiene, such as showering, bathing and toileting residents.
  • Nutritional support including documenting observations of dining habits and feeding residents in need.
  • Transportation of residents -Internally and possibly externally if assigned
  • Maintaining resident activities of daily living
  • Attending staff meetings and in-service training
  • Documenting hours, education, and training as required by state or local regulations
  • Communicating the need for resident supplies to Administrator or Home Manager
  • Escalating key information to the Administrator, including family contacts, hospital admissions, medication changes or changes in resident condition, physically or mentally.
  • Housekeeping including laundry, cleaning, keeping closets organized and tidy.
  • Other duties as assigned
